In the recent times students pursuing higher education abroad, are considering Dubai as a popular destination. The geographical location of Dubai being a port makes it a significant trading hub. Dubai as a city has come out as a business hub and global city. Initially, Dubai’s economy started on oil industry, it’s driven by the emirate’s business model. Students should budget between AED 3000 - 6000 per month, depends on whether living off or on campus. This is including accommodation, utilities, transport, entertainment and food. Private accommodation will most probably require you to pay approximately a year’s rent as advance. Campus accommodation ranges between AED 3000 - 4000 while private rent reaches to AED 5000. Dubai’s transportation is quite infamous for being extremely expensive as no public transport is available.

Once the students finish their higher studies in Dubai, the choices available for their career path are plenty and this is what attracts the masses towards Dubai. Once the graduates complete their studies, they can benefit from a tax free salary which is another plus point. For the duration of the course however, students cannot work part time unless they have an employment visa which allows them to study as well as work full and part time.
