Kinds of Degrees
The full time under graduate study courses are completed in three years and the bachelor’s degree is called “kandidatexamen” in Swedish language. The students then have a choice of pursuing a “Degree of Master” or the magisterexamen (completed in one year) and a “Degree of Master” or the masterexamen (completed in two years). If students are interested in research studies then they will have to study for another two years to get “licenciatexamen”. On the successful completion of four year full time research course, “doktorsexamen” degree is conferred upon the student.
